My Services

If you have bodily pain or tight muscles, loss of strength or reduced range of motion, it is likely you have some degree of soft tissue dysfunction. You may have acutely overloaded or injured a muscle, tendon or ligament; or you may have ongoing postural habits that result in poor movement patterns and long term pain or stiffness.

Myotherapy addresses symptoms and imbalances physically through techniques such as massage, stretching and needling.
Myotherapists also seek to identify causes and educate clients to support lasting change and improvements.
Sometimes one treatment is all that is necessary, or it may be that best results can be achieved with a few treatments over a short period of time.
It is my aim to get you to a point where you do not have ongoing symptoms and you know what to do by way of exercise or self care to overcome them if and when the re-occur.

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands on therapy that combines a Western, scientific understanding of the body, with supportive touch and a belief in the body’s ability to heal itself.
A core principle of BCST is that health and vitality is present in every body and that aligning to that health allows it to become more actively present.
As a BCST practitioner, I physically hold various parts of the body of the client, in a way that is safe and nurturing, while simply noticing what happens. The body recognises the safety provided and begins to relax, readjust and heal in whatever way is necessary.
BCSTis useful in connecting to emotions, difficult or challenging memories and positive internal resources
There is never any force in the holds or any intention to push for change.
You can expect to be asked to make yourself comfortable, fully clothed on the massage table, and I will gently place my hands on your feet, back, head etc, inviting a state of deep listening and relaxation.
I will talk you through what is going on in a way that might feel like a guided meditation. Sessions are very relaxing and can be useful for a variety of conditions and ailments, including chronic pain, gut issues, hormonal imbalance, infertility, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, sleep disturbances and general wellbeing.

I love talking to potential clients about what might be going on for them in order to establish if I think I can be of use. My goal is to support positive change, and sometimes that means referring a client to a different practitioner or suggesting they visit their GP before or instead of seeing me.

My commitment is that I will listen to you and give you my honest opinion about what I think might be helpful to your situation. If I we do decide to go ahead and book a session, I will establish specific treatment goals with you and make sure you know what to expect during and after your appointment. There is no risk involved and conversations are completely confidential and private.
